How much alcohol is in each pint?
Every Sunny Scoop pint is 5% ABV — roughly the same as a typical beer. Our Raspberry Rosé Sorbet is slightly lighter at 4% ABV. One pint is equivalent to about one standard drink.
Do I need to be of legal drinking age to order?
Yes. By law, and by brand, Sunny Scoop is strictly for adults of legal drinking age. In Kenya that is 18+. Our delivery riders check ID at the door. No ID, no scoop — no exceptions.
How do you ship without it melting?
We pack every order with dry ice in thick-wall insulated boxes. Pints stay frozen for 48+ hours, which covers every delivery route in Kenya. We also only ship Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend warehouse delays.
Can I pay with M-Pesa?
Absolutely. M-Pesa is our primary checkout method. We also offer pay-on-delivery for select Nairobi zones. No cards, no stress.
How long does delivery take?
Same day in Nairobi (2–4 hours). Next day for Kiambu, Kajiado, and Machakos. 1–2 days for Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, and Eldoret. 2–4 days for all other counties.
Is there free shipping?
Yes — free delivery on all orders over KES 5,000. That's roughly four pints, or one gift box.
Can I send a gift?
Yes. Our gift boxes include four assorted pints, branded tissue paper, and a handwritten card. We also offer corporate gifting with custom labels. Visit our Gift Boxes page to build one.
Do you cater events?
Yes — weddings, corporate launches, birthdays, brand activations, you name it. We bring a mobile scoop cart, custom menu, and a dedicated scoop attendant. Check out our Events & Catering page for packages.
How should I store Sunny Scoop at home?
Keep it in the coldest part of your freezer (-18°C or below). Once opened, eat within a week for the best texture and flavor. Do not refreeze after thawing.
Do you have dairy-free options?
Yes. Our sorbet flavors — Strawberry Margarita and Raspberry Rosé — are completely dairy-free. More vegan options are in development.
Can I visit a Barlour without a reservation?
Walk-ins are welcome at all our Barlours. For groups of 8 or more, or for private event bookings, we recommend calling ahead.
